Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Welcome in India . Garlanding at airport .On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of day is free for personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

DAY-02: Delhi

Morning City Tour.

Red Fort :Built in Red Sand stone this imposing fort is 3 kms in perimeter with the height of the wall varying from 18 to 30 meters at places.

Rashtrapati Bhawan : The president's mansion is situated on Raisina Hill in the center of Delhi, overlooking the green lawns around India Gate. This elegant building, is truly worth seeing, for its architectural beauty and historic significance. The beautiful Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhawan, which are open to the public in spring, are an added attraction.

Parliament House :Located in Central Delhi, this elegant building with its wide pillared walkways and large halls, is worth a visit, to see the corridors of power where India's lawmakers and statesmen decide the future of India. Raj Ghat : The memories of Mahatma Gandhi.

India Gate :Situated on Rajpath, in the center of Delhi, this 42-meter high arch, was designed by Edwin Lutyens, in memory of the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the first World War. Their names can be seen inscribed on the arch. The Amar Jawan Jyoti, an eternal flame, burns in memory of the unknown soldier, beneath the shelter of the arch, which is surrounded by green lawns, fountains and water bodies - an evergreen picnic zone in the heart of central Delhi..

Birla Mandir Laxmi Narayan Temple :It was built by the industrialist Raja Baldev Birla in 1938. The temple is an important prayer centre and contains idols of several deities. Interestingly, Mahatma Gandhi, who inaugurated the temple, was also a regular visitor to it.

Bahai Temple :This aesthetically designed monument, commonly known as the Lotus Temple, because the white marble structure is built to in the shape of a lotus, set amidst, lakes and green lawns. It is a serene house of meditation, within which there are no idols and total silence prevails, so all can meditate in complete peace. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Delhi / Srinagar

Transfer to airport to board flight for Srinagar .On arrival board to house boat . Overnight at Deluxe House Boat .

Day 04 :In Srinagar

After breakfast half day city tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh ( The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (abode of love ) .Overnight at Delux House Boat .

Day 05 : Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar (112kms/04hrs)

Full same day excursion of Gulmarg .Which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season .Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains .Overnight at House Boat .

Day 06 : Srinagar / Leh ( By Air)

Transfer to airport to board flight for ladakh.On arrival transfer to hotel .Overnight at hotel .

Day 07 : In Ladakh

Morning half day excursion to Spituk and Phyang monastery. Shanker Gompa. Sankar. A relatively modern monastery, it is closely associated with the Spituk monastery and serves as the residence of the head priest -.Spituk. 8 km. from Leh, it stands prominently on the top of hillock commanding a panoramic view of the Indus valley for miles. Many icons of Buddha and fine Thankas are to be found in this 15th centuryGompa..Phyang. 17 km from Leh on the Leh - Kargil road, it looks like a huge palace from afar, built by Tashi Namgyal in the later half of the 16th century AD., it belongs to the Red Cap sect of Buddhists. Hundreds of icons of Buddha and other gods are kept on wooden shelves. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 08 : In Ladakh

Full day excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monastery which is most popular Monastery in Ladakh region. return back to Hotel in the late afternoon.
Shey. Situated on a hillock 15 km upstreams from Leh, it was once the residence of the royal family. According to tradition, it was the seat of power of the pre-Tibetan kings. A 7.5 m high copper statue of Buddha, plated with gold, and the largest of its kind, is installed here. Thiksey. 19 km from Leh, spectacularly sited, Thiksey is one of the largest and architecturally most impressive gompas. There are several temples in this gompa, containing images, stupas and wall paintings of Buddha which are exquisite. Thiksey provides a panoramic view of the green Indus valley from its vantage point atop a hill.Hemis. 40 km from Leh, it is the wealthiest, best known and biggest gompa of Ladakh. Its popularity stems from the mojor annual festival held here in summer. The festival is in honour of Guru Padma Sambhav's birth anniversary. It also has the largest Thankha in Ladakh, which is unfurled, once in 12 years (next in 2004) Hemis was built in 1630 during the reign of Sengge Namgyal, an illustrious ruler of Ladakh. It flourished under the Namgyal dynasty for the royalty favoured the Drugpa sect, which managed the monastery. It is divided into two , the assembly hall on the right and the main temple on the left. The hall Dukhang, is also used as "green room" by the dancers during the festival. The temple is known as Tshogkhang. The varandahs have a surfeit of frescoes, among them the Buddhist 'wheel of life' (Kalachakra) and the lords of the four quarters, besides the prayer wheel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 09 : In Ladakh

Full day excursion to Alchi ,Likir And Ridzong. Likir. Founded in the 11th century and rededicated to a different monastic order in the 15th century, its earlier gompa was destroyed in a fire. The present gompa dates back to the 18th century. Skilled craftsmen producing excellent Thankas, earthen pots and carved wooden folding stools, live here in the village. Majestically situated, Likir commands a spectacular view. A magnificent giant Jupiter tree, one of the few survivors of its species, stands in the courtyard. Alchi. 70 km from Leh, on the banks of the Indus, is the Alchi gompa dating a thousand years back. One of its wall features thousands of miniature sized pictures of the Buddha. Three large sized images made of clay and painted brightly are its focal attractions. No longer an active religious centre, it is looked after by monks from the Likir monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Ladakh / Delhi (By Air)

Transfer to airport to board flight for Delhi.On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel

Day 11 : Leave Delhi

Transfer to international airport to board flight for onwards destination .
